starky

Finally, ground was soft enough to dig here in NW Ohio.
Went out all day with my buddy Jeremy.
Lots of clad, 8 quarters, 6 dimes, 30 memorials.
For the good stuff, I ended up with 18 wheat pennies, 1- 1905 'O" Barber dime, 1943 merc, 1952 Rosie and 1953 Washington.
Wind was a pain, made it a bit chilly, but at least we were able to get out of the house for a day, and fire up the Detectors.
Love the way the rock tumbler cleans up those wheats and clad!!
6th time out with my CTX, I am in love with this machine!!!

It amazes me how it picks through the trash and lets you know something is there!. 3 of the silver's came out of areas that was so trashy, with nails, foil and every other common yard trash we have to pick through. Its not always a for sure "dig" tone, but it always gives enough of a tone that lets me know I should probably dig. I think this year is going to be a great year with this machine. Looking forward to it. Good luck and HH

Congrats on the great finds and in all honesty, I am impressed that you can get out to hunt. A little too cold in my area to hunt yet! Are you using any particular patterns?
Thanks and Happy Hunting
Chuck

Nice finds. All of our parks here have been pounded hard.
I love it when I come a real trashy part. I always find silver. I'm guessing other detectors can't see thru the trash.

I have been mainly using "gonehuntings" combined mode. I love that setting, It sees through the trash with no problem, and gives you allot of info about whats under the coil.
I run mine with a wide open screen, most of the time. I know allot of people like the discrimination,
I like having a threshold the whole time, and I like the idea of hearing everything my coil is passing over.
I know that isnt for most people, But its the way I ran my E-trac, and I got used to all the ear music.
