My parents migrated to CA from Ohio in 1950. I had an Uncle Fred that still lived in Ohio until he passed some years back. I still have family there that I have never met. Go figure, my Dad had 13 brothers and sisters born there.
 
It certainly is and that's why I left the Midwest many moons ago. Went to California before it was over populated, had smog, and mind boggling traffic. Thought I had died and gone to heaven. If it was still like that today I'd be back in a heart beat.
