41 Wash Q and broke 800 bucks

New member
It was nice, warm and drizzly this am..Whats a fellow to do? This Q was at a new soccer park, deep though, down in the gravel under the topsoil, but that signal was just perfect, could not walk away from that one, had to use the Fpoint to find it down in the gravel and fished it out. got $801.03 count between yesterday and todays finds. Plus this T Rex Token, which is as big as a dollar coin, but sounded like a high zinc penny, or a chucky cheese token. so I stabbed it.

Hot d%m puppy, when you do it, you do it right. Silver to break the $800.00 mark is rather fitting in my book. Here's a hot toddy for you. Merry Christmas. HH jim tn

Nice mud. congrats!

Love those fat silver quarters, congrats on your big numbers for the year!

If you were in My former Detecting club.. You would be the detectorist of the year....

Elton, did you notice how after I got the Fisher Hat and shirt, my finds just exploded? So you are entirely to blame! Jimmy, thanks for the drink and all the motivation this year! I WAS going to just drop that Q, and come back January 1st for it, to see if I might try to beat your silver numbers in 2013...then I thought that might be too ambitious a goal, and most likely unattainable! Camp, Blade, and EZ...you boys sure set a high bar yourselves, I am proud to say I've learned a lot from you all on this Forum!:beers:

FPOINT? Dude! Insult upon injury, an fpoint? Have you no shame?!? No one can find anything with an fpoint. Everyone knows that. You're just getting cockey. Success has gone to your head. Next you're going to tell us you use ear plugs and a blindfold. Shoot, you'd probably still out hunt most of us. I'd hate to think what you'd do with a ProPointer. :clapping:

Tom! Ha! Yes I have learned to use the Fpoint for its strengths, mainly it has that skinny probe, so a guy can insert it down into a screwdriver hole quite effectively, and it only buzzes when it touches a metal object! So for my kind of hunting, its waaaay better than that ProPointer!
Everybody sure does bust its chops when the subject of Pinpointers comes up though! Yes, I'm pretty dang good at this, thanks for noticing..Hey, did I tell you about the time I found nearly 30 bucks in clad in 15 minutes, at night, in an electrical storm, and tornado warnings...the next morning, I could not get the F70 to turn on, and it was only then I discovered there were no batteries in it!

:heh: :heh: LMAO! Reminds me of the time my old CZ5 locked on to a target so hard it pulled it right out of the ground.
