4900 DI Pro HELP!!!

New member
Got permission today to hunt a couple of old 1800's home sites.... the guy who gave me permission pulled out an old 4900DI Pro he had traded for several years ago and said he had wanted to learn to metal detect but had never used the machine and had no idea where to start ..... I told him I would try to help him get started detecting and help him set up his machine if I could..... Thought there might be someone here who could give me some tips on the setup..... I hunted with a Spectrum for several years but the 4900 is greek to me....I really want to help this poor guy out...... any help would be appreciated .... Thanks ahead of time...... Bill
