4th silver of the year and it's my first Barber

congrads, yes in very nice condition! I think most find Barber dimes first, they seem more prevalent, good hunts ahead, CO

No I didn't find it in fresh water Mud. It was about 8 in down right in front of a park bench. The park is right around a tidal inlet and it is common for it to flood with salt water. The ground hasn't been disturbed since the park was made in 1860. I have hunted here twice now. First trip a ww2 naval hat badge, 2 mercurys, a silver Washington and 6 wheat pennies. This trip the Barber, and 4 wheats. Would hunt there every day but it's 30 miles from my home

A nice coin! It's worth driving distances when you find a spot like you have that seems to be lightly detected and who knows, maybe never before detected!!! There has to be more old coins there so good luck when you go back there again!
