Just tried Barber,Buff,War nick, Jeff. cleaned ones and dirty ones,(i keep some for testiing) All struck solid on the nickle notch/block! So I feel much better now, the field of view on the small coil is super tiny!!!! It truly is a sniper coil! Yikes!! GO :garrett:



Something else I just tried is the field of "view" on the coil is wider on a silver coin(dime) than the nickle. So that tells me that a dime will have more "lead in" than the nickle.
 
I noticed on the standard coil, the nickel has a wide sound while foil and some canslaw have more "pointed" and short beeps. The pencil erasers, unfortunately, have a wide sound.:ranting:
