5 coins! :fisher:

And 5 was it for this mornings 2 1/2 hour hunt. Fortunately that all were of a little older varieties...but, alas, no silver again.

Went back into one of our wooded spots since we are so dry that there really is no where else now to dig. The 3 wheat cents were my first 3 recovered coins. 1 needs some work to try and get a date. 1 is a 1909, (blah, blah) and the other a 1935. The 1895 Indian, which isn't in to bad of condition, was the next coin to fall prey to the DST F 75 and 5 x 10 dd coil. About 15 minutes before calling it quits for the day I recovered the1936 Buffalo about two feet off of a pathway.

Since there is still plenty of ground cover and swinging is typically a few inches above the ground, I was in the b p mode. HH jim th

No silver but still a nice hunt especially for only 2 1/2 hours hunting. Like Jim says its about quality not quantity. Heck I've still got an Indian penny on my bucket list.
