my f-5 has a plug in type conector and forum member has one for sale but it runs from a gamma or bounty hunter platnum series is the wiring diagram the same?

I had asked the question before and Dave J said they were electrically similar so I am sure it will work. If in doubt just call 1-800-685-5050 and they will let you speak to a tech if you want, they have always been very helpful with technical questions I have had. You will like the 5" DD the separation is surgical in trashy areas and it is the coil I leave on my F5 most of the time. TID's are close with all three coils I have. The only time I use the 11DD is in open fields when trying to cover some ground. You will like it.

Take care
Bob

What kind of depth does a F5 get with a 5" DD coil?

Always must take things with a grain of salt...and it does depend alot on soil conditions too...but users that I consider to be straight up, no BS types say the 5" gets about 2"-3" less than the standard factory Fisher DD coil. These liitle 5" coils are supposed to be rather awesome on depth. A good person to ask is Monte, he use's the 5" almost exclusively on his Teknetics Omega. Here is his website:
