I was swinging along the edge of some concrete parking slabs this morning and right off, got a pretty hit. Although the vdi was somewhat bouncy and the signals were spread out a little, tones were good and some number readings were up to 83-84. I dug a little larger hole then usual and upon flipping over the clod I spotted the silver edge of a quarter. I plucked it out, a 57d, and went back over the clod and received another good sounding hit. This time I broke the clod apart and in the loose dirt was a bottle cap, 2 wheaties, a 40 Merc. and another silver quarter, a 61. It was a little chilly, 43 degrees, starting out this morning, but 3 silvers in one hole right off, made me forget about the chill. Unfortunately, except for 2 more wheaties and a little clad, that was it for my outing. HH jim tn

now thats hunting-most I got once was three while water hunting but it was clad.you hit quite a spread of history there- good for you
Sounds good to me.Now that makes a guy want to slow down and pay attention when the F75 makes those machine gun sounds. It is easier to ignore them sometimes that sort them out. Congrats on taking the time and being rewarded. Single signals are much easier to deal with but think how many other guys probably walked over those silver coins.

I have hunted this particular site a lot and missed them more then once. I have, though, been using the 61/2 elliptical a lot lately and it really does shine in the trash and gets near amazing depth. Speaking of multi targets, I got a lock on 70-71 reading this morning that read 4". Thinking I maybe had a clad dime or perhaps a wheatie I dug and out popped a clad quarter. I thought what????, layed the quarter down and the vdi said quarter. I swung back over the hole and got a nickel hit and out popped a nickel. Re-scanned the hole and retrieved another clad quarter. Not sure what the moral is, except maybe to dig those pennies, or be sure and recheck our holes and maybe even, readings aren't always as they seem. I do know, when following a detector around, it does pay to be inquisitive. HH everyone, jim tn
