5 inch Fisher F70/F75 users

I have recently purchased a 5 inch F-75 coil for my F-70 and am quite pleased with it. While air testing on the coil I am amazed with the detector getting readings of 9 to 12 inches from a penny up to a quarter. This would mean to me in the real world I should expect amazing depth with this small coil. What are some of the deepest coins some of you users have found with this coil? Thanks in advance

Somewhat of a jumpy signal, but hit just enough on dime Id I dug it.. Silver merc !!.

Right at 7" yesterday on a 1905 V nickel. Pretty tight vid as well, 27-33. Did give a mix of tones, mid to high, in 3h tones with the F 75 LTD. It is a great coil and gets more then ample depth for its size. HH jim tn

I find the VDI to be very accurate but the depth is roughly half what is displayed.
