505 at the beach?

Anyone have any first hand experience with the 505 on salt water beaches? Not sure if its a waste of
my time or will it function in the dry sand well enough to be useful?

I used a 50 in the beach it was great in dry sand but horrible in wet sand. If it is fresh water it is good in both but salt water it only likes the dry sand.

All Xterras, including my old X30,............ Will work great on the dry sand.
By far, because it's the lightest and kills on jewelry as well as coins, the HF Elliptical coil is my proven favorite in the dry beach sand.
