Got 2 Wheaties and an ornate picture hanger.
In old houses they had what was known as picture mold that went around the wall close but not touching the ceiling. Hangers like this one were used. Simply put the hanger where you want the pic and hang the wire on the back of the pic on this hanger. if it needed adjustment simply slide it over where you want it.
Of course most of you knew that anyway.

Nice finds Bob. It is decent weather here in Wisconsin too, so I got out for an hour. Found a 1917 Buffalo Nickle.

Our nickles come out of the ground all corroded too. This one was in good enough condition to make out the date and quite a bit of the lettering.

Awful mess in Anch right now 2' of snow last nite musta been a hundred wrecks or so and still going on freezing misty fog is deadly.....If nothin else we can kill a coupla Suds thats my limit LOL...Geo

If you have Nickels that are dateless Yooper, get yourself some Nic-A-Date Date Restorer for Nickels. It is an acid that brings back the date of old worn Nickels and then at least you know how old those Nickels are. Good Luck and HH.

Stay in and knock yourself out with 4 or 5 and if your lucky you'll wake in time to catch that plane to the Big.
