56-year old high school ring found and will be returned to owner

This is a bit lengthy, but I wanted to relate a story about a class ring I found and will return. About a month ago, my now fourteen year-old daughter and I were hunting one of our usual spots at a camp area that used to be home of a freshman orientation event for the University of North Carolina. We had one interesting coin-a Krona from Iceland, but mostly just clad. As is prone to happen with a young teenager, my daughter was getting bored and wanted to go home. I told her lets look at the soccer field one more time telling her maybe we could find some jewelry. She responded in her teenage fashion,
