5x10" HF coil

foreign object

The more I use it the more I am liking it. I am a coin hunter and was surprised at how well and deep it will hit a silver dime being such a high freq. What I have found out also is that the deeper the coin the higher the vid are in my test garden. Found that to be true also with the stock 9" MF coil.

Be back later wife said supper ready. Get it now or never.

Well could not edit my op which was ok if I had know before I typed in the below information and it would not accept it. O Well

The GB has me scratching my head though.
It will auto balance in the low 60s but will tack down to the low 40s and upper 30s. The stock coil GB at 37-38 and tracks the same so not sure what is going on there.Maybe someone can enlighten me.
Maybe someone can enlighten me.

The little coil will hit my 8" dime but vids are high 44-46 with a bounce to 48 at times. It will also bang the 6" on edge dime that is tilted to about 1oclock. Vids are 40-42. Don't really mind the higher vids. Much better than low ones. I am digging everything 32 and up with a good tone.

Went up to a place that I Great have hunted hard with the CTX and found silver before. No silver with the 705 but did dig several wheats that I had chose not to dig with the ctx. Depths mostly in the 5 to 6 inch range but had two at a solid 8 plus inches.

Running max sen, the 705 ran quiet and stable. Generally have to back off the CTX or run auto plus 2 to settle it down.

Really like being able to see and operate the 705 without my glasses on.

The separation on the 5x10 is good although limited some by its length.

All in all a very pleasant experience using the 705 and 5x10 coil. It is a machine that most anyone can run but still has enough spark and ability to please most.
