6/10/10 Iowa yard expedition

2 inches of rain today made plug cutting easy this evening. Hunted for 2 hours, talked to homeowner for 1. Went over this place last year with the Bounty Hunter. But tonight, my friends and brothers, I extracted from the earth a 1900 barber, and a 1909 wheat. 1909 is in excellent condition. Both were strong 38's @ 4 inches below soil line. Also found several 1940's wheats, but I always find tons of them. Anyone else find lots of 40's wheats?

Ya, after the war lots of people must have been rolling around on the grass making the 8 legged monster.
