6" coil digging everything...dang.........

In 5 hours I dug 96 pull tabs and this stuff. One nice silver ring and an old very petite ring. and 2 silver tags..
I love that 6 inch more than I thought I would. Some kids saw me on the beach. bless there little hearts. I gave them a Liconln each and they were excited..MISTAKE..they wouldnt leave me alone after that..but it was fun..
 
Keep digging, those rings will probably keep popping up. WTG.
 
Great finds! You have just learned a lesson. Although I love the kids they can and will become a pest. Sometime just the mention of spiders and snakes can make them leave.

"Hey, are you finding anything?" No. But I just saw a snake where your standing a minute ago!

Now BS I could have used that earlier today.:cheers:....No really they were cute for say 10 seconds then I couldnt get them out of my way...The grandad finally came down and said lets go kids...Whew! I was getting testy for a minute there..anyways thanks for that info Khouse thats funny as hell..I dont know why I didnt remember that trick..Once upon a time I was building a play house for my girls. I told them it was were I was keeping my pet snakes. I covered it with a tarp so they couldnt see the Mickey Mouse wall paper.They never went in it while I was building it, and It was all I could do to get them to go in it after I finished it..The power of suggestion!
 
96 pull tabs! Wow. I dig them too, still waiting for my 1st ring. Which 6" do you use? I just got the 6" Med Freq.
 
Sometimes when I'm water hunting the kids will swim down and grab my scoop to see what's in there. I'm talking in chest deep water! Another water hunter said it would happen and I didn't believe it. But those kids can really swim! I was at a sand volleyball court next to a shelter house. There was like 40 people there and 2 boys came down to check me out. One asked if he could detect. I let him - not wanting the party to think I was an ass. So after the kid used the machine for 30 seconds the other boy wanted to also. Then the first kid took off running away from the other with my detector! I talked him into bringing it back and I left the park.
 
Bobdylan Im using the 6" Concentric 7.5 kHz coil ..Im limited since I just have the x30, But man Its really impressed me..
 
Ordered a 6"dd myself and cant wait to give it a go in some of the trash infested areas the 10" struggles with. Nice to hear positive feedback about it.
