Made it to 6000...but I think I hit a penny farm! Way to many pennies, a 47-d wheatie and 2 Canadian pennies 65 and 68. 119 coins

Thanks been out every day this month except the 3rd....Almost broke dfx on water fountain on way out today! Time for a break...Thanks for your help and suggestions...helped me find that Merc yesterday!

I know you usually like to get them coins fast.. but a slow, take it easy day, once in awhile would be good for you..and your silver count.

i dont like the penny farms , but they add up and they give wide variety of v.d.i numbers most of the zinc pennys are pited and worthless why has the government cheated us ?

Sure thing I will post a pic here tomorrow night...My camera is at mother in laws...I still have everything except 2 rings I sold..Taking a break for well...I thought 2 days...but tomorrow I maybe out again! Then I will probably need the camera back anyways...Thanks for the kind words and the support.

I use to live in Marin County and found in one year about fifteen thousand coins all nickel and above I cashed them in for about two thousand dollars in change.

That is great! This is quite a challenge for me getting to 10,000...first year back in detecting after 20 years and using a new machine....been fun the dfx is something at picking up coins! Great job on your part...I just took 4 days off...got a little to carried away trying to get to 10,000...< Needed a break...here there are pennies everywhere here so I usually pick them up...once I hit so many I try to work around them...

Seems working with a defective coil for a few months also slowed me down...before I found out my smaller 5.3 eclipse coil had a broken cable it was not giving a signal past 3.0...I stubbornly detected with it anyways for 2 more months...till it started missing surface finds...
