Tons of dogs running on the beach today; played with some of them in between digging

Chased the tide out....found all items on wet slope

Most were quite deep ...12"- 20"..kept sensitivity at 1 o'clock

14 K was a medium, "garbled" sound...initially thought it might be another nickel.

thanks for looking

nice finds, do you remember what number the 14kt ring came up as? also what a nice job getting the silver ring clean. Got any info on electrolysis that you could share ? I have a few silver items I found on the beach that look a lot like your before picture. Ron

Thank you.

I don't use the numbers .....I just listen to the pitch of the target sound...I dig everything that I hear.

I did try the Sovereign DTI for a few weeks a couple of years ago, but decided that I would rather detect without it.

I like the electrolysis set up that I have; if you have specific questions about it, you are welcome to e-mail me about them

Here's pics of my set up ( I currently use an adaptor instead of a battery)
