6x8 SEF Butterfly vs 7" Ultimate for my MXT?

In the past, I have run an 6x8 on my MXT and loved it, no longer have either the detector or the coil. I now have another MXT PRO and was pretty sold on going with another 6x8 until I saw the 7" ultimate, I ran the larger Ultimate coil and didn't really care for it that much as it was pretty flimsy....the 7" looks much more rugged. Anyone out there that has run both to add some insight to comparing the two coils as I am close to buying another 6x8 unless someone can convince me the ultimate can outperform it.

I never owned a 6x8 but just ordered a 7" ultimate. (will fit all my White's machines)
What helped a little to go for it was the youtube vid from White's. Just do a youtube search for " mx sport detech coils ".
 
Haven't tried the 7",,, but man I loved the 6X8 SEF on my MXT. That was the deepest "small" coil I ever used in red clay. Good luck with your decision!
