6X8 SEF on a 6" and 10" Target

This first target was from an area that is the most hunted spot at the place I'm hunting. Clearly the smaller coil was the key for getting between the iron. Just wanted to show how hard it hit on a 6" coin, like it was 3"!

This next target was at a measured 10" and is small trash, Nickel width but thicker. But you have to see the way it hit, what the VDI was and where it was! This hit was really interesting from the get go. Would love your comments and if you had similar experiences.

The 6x8 sef butterfly coil is a dynamite coil, as your videos demonstrate. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Nuff said. =o)

I have nothing but good praise about the 6x8 coil, its depth and separation abilities blow me away, my deepest targets with it so far have been a silver dime at 9 inches and a token close to the same depth. Amazing coil, I had to experience its power myself, because before using it, I would have never believed anyone who told me this coil would go that deep

Nice dig on the coin, Im seriously considering a 8x6 coil for my V3i, also taking a look at an etrac this weekend. My whites dealer is selling them now too!

Thanks for having me along !!!

I do wonder if smaller coils can sometimes get GREAT depth because of the energy being concentrated in a smaller footprint. Often we see larger coils barely get more depth because the energy is dispersed.

I venture to say that in the proper soil some smaller coils might get more depth due to seeing through minerals better.

Hmmmm.

Thanks for the comments,
Albert

You are right I have found more good targets with a smaller coil!!! :minelab::teknetics:

I recently purchased the 8x6 for my mxt pro.Like goes4ever said you have to experience the coil for yourself to believe it's abilities........in my soil it beats the 12" coil supplied with the mxt pro for depth. It's a coil that i will not take off my mxt and i'm now thinking of getting one for my minelab.....they seem to perform well on all detector brands.

That coil look amazing, love the videos. I will have try that coil at some point.

I think your exactly right on your coments Albert. Smaller coils seperate better and have way less soil under them for the machine to process through so they seem to punch deeper in relation to their size than larger coils do, more lazer like.
