Figured I wouldn't get jacked on Easter? The park is 1940 post war era, so nothing very old in the ground.....once a nice neighborhood, now kinda rough streets. I was getting the normal looks from the hoods, but I had them thinking "He must be loco digging in the ground yo!" And of course I was caring a lesche!!!!
22 to 1 wheat-back to silver. Ouch....Still not bad for a hunted out park? Another sterling silver what's-it?
6x8 SEF is lites out in the trash!!! Pretty good depth too!!!! I've had it for a couple weeks, but really didn't give it a try. The older coins were about 6 inches down, and the coil hit them solid. Many coins on edge or right on the beavertails. Many cool digs finding those odd sounding, strangely behaving hits. Dug also probably $5 in clad quarters.
Glad they left one rosie for me. Blended warbley signal that didn't sound right, a little high tones and mid range conductivity #'s bouncing all over. Just didn't seem right, so I pull the plug, touch the probe to the cone of the plug, bang...beavertail. Stick the probe the hole.....Wham-O SILVER!!!! At least I got one.
Either Bryce has pulled all of the silver out of this park, or the guys in the 80's only dug the high VDI when the Spectrum came out......either way I guess they didn't like wheaties? Well it probably wasn't Bryce, he would have got all the wheat-backs too!!
(Etrac Rocks! Don't believe the hype!!)
