Howdy,
I made an extended hunt yesterday. I was out about seven hours of solid swinging and pertty much got worn out! Had fun though. I ended up the day with 17 Wheats. Notable on the Wheats included a 1910, 1926-D, 1928, and 1930-D, but only the 26-D was in decent shape. Out of the17, there was only one double (52-D), which I thought was a pretty good spread. Had a nearly complete year spread from 41-56 (mostly D's).

Also managed four silver. I was trying pretty hard for the fifth, but I just ran out of steam...

And the icing was probably this token (which traveled a long way to rest where it was!). I don't see it listed in the online token catalog.

There were signals everywhere, so I was trying to focus on the deeper ones. I still picked up 30 Memorials, 15 clad dimes and 8 clad quarters, and an untold number of deep screw caps (the bane of my SE existence!).
This was all with the 8x6 SEF coil. I think I need to go back with the Pro coil, as even the 50's Wheats were 6-8 inches down. I suspect there's more below that yet. Now I think I know what it's like to find a place where the mid layer has been cleaned out, but the deeper ones are waiting to be Minelab'd.

Sore arms go with the territory as many of us know after swinging a coil all day. Signals all over the place sounds like you found a spot that you will be detecting for quite awhile. HH.
