7 more silver leads to a new record:super:

Met up with Ray-Mo again on Thursday for another of our bi-monthly road trip hunts and again it did not disappoint. I started out needing 5 silver to break my yearly record of 79 silver coins in one year that I set all the way back in 1989. I really wasn't sure if I was going to hit it since we really did not have any new spots lined up and were going to mainly hit some spots we have hunted before but the good ol' E-trac keeps pulling them out.

My take for the day was the usual assortment of wheat cents, 2 Barber dimes, 5 mercs, 1 injun, and 1 silver war nickel (I personally do not count those in my yearly totals). This put my total for silver coins for the year at 82 (it is now 83 since I did find another merc today during a short local hunt)

I am now thinking I may try for 100 this season if I can keep up theses good multiple silver hunts!!

Very nice finds again Bob, looks like you and Ray are having a good time. Thanks for the video.

congrats on breaking your record!!!!! But I cringe everytime you rub your silver coins! Imagine if one of those were a 1916-D merc :surprised:

if it happened to me, it could happen to anyone!!!!!! But once again congrats on breaking your record!

Etrac is amazing and congrats on the great day!I have that same problem of rubbing my coins though, thanks for the reminder.Charlie

Wow, what a day! Glad you guys get together, that is awesome in itself.
