[size=medium]Howdy MD'ers and MD'etts,

After findin that gold pendant, I couldn't wait to have a
nice day, so I could go back and hunt in comfort.

Today was that day.

I decided ta try out tha swim pool. I need another good
swim pool.

I hunted it for 2 hours. It has some thin top soil, and clay
with rocks below. But it is moist, so it could have been
much worse.

I did not mark one target with my new digger I made. It
is hard to tell I was even there.

This is all I have ta show for 2 hours diggin.

23 coins and a piece of harmonica reed. Oh, and some
trash for good measure.

Got tired of that and moved on to tha tot lot.

This was much more fast pace. I spent 2 hours here also.

But look at tha difference.

I found a bunch of this stuff.

And a bunch of these.

117 coins. Plus tha 23 coins from tha pool makes a
4 hour total of______ 140 coins.

Not bad for 4 hours. But no old coins. Just clad and
a school lunch token makes 141.

I found a broke pocket knife.

And I'm not sure what, but I got "Top 20" at sumpum.

I found some of this stuff,

Somebody lost their USA Flag pendant.

2-18-10.jpg

Somebodies else's lost a couple ear rings, a bunny
thingie and a chain.

2-18-6.jpg

This must be tha place ta loose stuff.

Look at this.

I'll bet sombody got PO'ed when they lost this ring.

Pretty sure it's silver.

I can just barely make out a "5" on tha inside.

Well, I still got some more huntin I could do here.

We'll see how things line up.

I may just save it for tha right time.

Thanks fer lOOkin,

I was using tha V.

I hunted it a few days ago with MisSpeedy (Compadre).

But on this hunt, I started with tha V at tha pool and just
stayed with it.

Tha Vaquero is really versatile when you learn it.

I am using it more and more these days.

I like tha low tone.

Funny, others say they can't ID iron and aluminum as well
with low tone, but not me. I can ID great with it.
