705 Finds Silver First Time Out

It took me about 8 months to find my first 90%'er with my Ace 250. First day out with my 705 and found a 1943 merc. It's worn pretty good but who cares, lol!!! Also found one crusty wheat that I didn't get a date off of before I chunked it in with my other wheats. An Alabama tax token, and 3 modern pennies. I Also found a 1942 1 Centava...very cool find to me. Dug some trash trying to get use to the different tones and such. Found my first thimble... it's toast also but I could have done that with my Lesche, still getting use to the pinpointing on the 705. Spoon is Oneida Community Par Plate, I'm guessing from the 40ish era. This all came from the same house place. I have hit it very hard with the 250. The trash I new was trash with the 250 so I left it. I only dug it today to learn the tones and target id's. The coins the 250 didn't touch. I hope this is a sign of great things to come with the 705. Good Luck and Happy Hunting!!
