705 gets silver ring today

Had a fun hunt today at a nearby elementary school today with robo99 and his son Zach. I started the day swinging the 5x10 HF DD and was coing pretty well with clad. Robo99 was using the X-5 on his SE Pro and Zach was using the sniper on the AT Pro. The area we were hunting was not to terribly trashy so after mid hunt sometime, I switched to the 10.5 MF DD Coil. I continued tofind some clad then I found a 1953 Wheat Penny. Roy had already found a couple of wheats so I was glad I found at least one (Friendly Competition). I stayed in the same area that was between a baseball field and the playground moving closer to the fence I got a nice high tone and recovered a nice small silver turquoise and red stone ring. No markings inside but probably Indian made according to robo99. Definitely heavy and rang up as silver on both detectors. For the day had 8 quarters, 12 dimes, 22 pennys, a golf n games token, a k-swiss piece off some shoes, and the silver ring. No good nickle signals today and felt that was a little weird. Not too bad and lots of fun. Didn't even put the new 6 inch HF DD on today but plan to use it tomorrow !!

Sounds like a fun day!

FWIW, the red stone in the ring is red coral.

No problem. As a matter of fact, to be more speciffic, the ring is most likely a Zuni made wedding band.
(I used to sell the stuff)

I love digging silver. Neat ring.
