8" 3 kHz Coil Question

I know there are many knowledgeable X-Terra users here so I have a very basic question.

In soil with low mineralization, on a clad dime target, how much depth can I realistically expect from the 705 with the 8" 3 kHz coil?

There will be no major depth gain going to the 3kHz 9" CC over the stock 7.5kHz 9"CC. The real difference is in the response to high conductors, which is dramatic.
