8" Excelerator v. 6" Excelerator EQ 2... depth difference?

Hello All,

I have been using the 6" EQ 2 Pro almost exclusively for a year and wouldn't trade it for a date with Christie Brinkley. I was browsing this morning and noticed the 8" Excelerator. There are definitely places I would like to cover more surface area and perhaps get a touch more depth. I really like the 'closed loop' coils as opposed to the butterfly, personal preference I guess. Has anyone compared the two to see if the 8" gets more depth? I will check Bryce's work but thought I would throw the question out there.

If you google seach 6" Excelerator EQ 2 you find a guy on findsmall that tested many coils.
The information help me pick out my next coil. here is the link
