grumpy

New member
I no its been asked many times but I cant find or remember , is the 8 ( 7.5) in fbs coil for the etrac a dd coil or conc???
thanks grumpy

n/t

Yes this measures a littlo over 7 in.
Next question or more of this question, were any made coin?? This little guy sure acts coin to me. I have used a lot of dd and coin coils but this shows no difference on its side like others I have used. You push up to a metal post from either side or front an it rings at the same distance?? Just curious. Thanks. Grumpy.

If by "coin" you mean concentric----the answer is "nope".-----Like Kenny said, they are all DD's.----I think Kellyco had a 8" (or so) concentric that they were selling for the Explorers/Etracs (at least at one time they did)----but Minelab has never produced a concentric coil for these series detectors.----If you have a Minelab produced coil for them---you have a DD.

I know everyone praises the aftermarket smaller coils. But if possible I like to stay with the same brand of accessories. I mean who knows how to build ML coils better than ML? My 800 coil works great.
