I have got now over an hundred hours in on the SE over the last few weeks and have been practicing seeing how well it can suck pound coins from out of the trash , foil tabs bottle tops IRON crown caps etc... I have been amazed at the accuracy of the tones and cross hair to ID the target coin accurately 10 times out of ten!
The Se is totally superb because i know the tone and cross hair never lie to me. I can walk over sites littered with trash and cherry the chubbies and leave all the rubbish in the ground, i have learnt how to tell a screw cap /bottle top from a

What are your settings? In my area, I've dug rusted nails that ring in 3 Ferrous and 26-30 Conductive just like a coin

My settings are pretty basic . Factory coins mode with jewelry ticked in "select" Fast on usually. Nothing flashy with my settings , no need to adjust anything out of the ordinary as the coins and jewelry mode works fine. Most of the settings seem to be user preference settings and don't seem to makemuch difference no matter what settings are adjusted. On trashy sites i run sensitivity at 15 -17 semi auto. Works for me. Normal sounds works best for me. The long and smooth and pitch hold i have found i dont like that much.
