9” coil cover not staying on??

I’m having issues with mine not fitting well and coming off it’s a new machine 2017 anyone have issues with theirs?
And did you figure out a good way to prevent it from coming off?

I had the same problem a couple years back. Apparently there is an "old style" cover that doesn't fit the current 9 " LF coil shape. That's what I read somewhere anyway. I trimmed a bit off the back notch area and it has worked fine since. Since yours is new, tell them to send you the correct style.

Perhaps it was a particular batch of covers ?????

I would suggest that you talk to your supplier.

In-fact I dip my coil in very warm water to remove the cover for cleaning out in dirt on the coil face as its a tight fit.

use 2 small plastic wire ties to keep it on. I have that on one of mine. or electricians tape...

Yes, I had the same problem when I bought my machine new 2 1/2 yrs. ago.

I called XP America and they told me ...
"That the factory redesigned the coil cover so it would fit better and they must have put one of the original style covers on my machine, when it was boxed by mistake".
The said they were sorry for the problem and mailed me a new one for free.
