9” HF coil or elliptical coil?

I was wondering which coil I should get to hunt old home sites. I have a 11” LF for fields, and wanted a better separation in the iron. Does the elliptical get good depth?
 
I have both of the HFs.. They are both going to separate a lot better than the 11. The round is still a good field coil so you might have more overlap with it and the 11. You can always take the elliptical and the 11 and switch when you get away from the house. Just have to learn to reprogram which is easy once you get used to it. The elliptical hits really deep especially if you run it hot. Found a 14Kt baby ring in park at 9" with no VDI. LOL
