Masonic ring is 10k 12.6 gr.,straight back band is .800, 7.5 gr., chain is 9k 18.6 gr., far right band is 14k, 10.7 gr. beside it band is 18k 8 gr. white gold band in the back row (center with pattern) is 14k 9 gr. Had Jim Pugh make me a custom 'Cuda with PI. Pro coil--this detector really shone on the hills where larger coils (and VLFs) draw tons of interference and miss a lot. A very deep and effective little detector with a very stable and nice to swing White's coil.
Total is 3.7 oz.

Way to go Clive!!! When you mention the "hills" what exactly are you speaking of?

Keep up the nice work!

Why a Barracuda?
Would a White's PI with the same modification worked as well?

Happy to see someone getting out there and finding something good.

Ya got this old hunter stirred up and rarin to get out there!!

Nice job Clive.

By "hills" I mean the steep sidewall or slope. Where I hunt this ground really nulls out VLFs becasue of the difference as you go deeper.

That would be a stock PI pro--also a formidable machine. But Jim Pugh's 'Cuda is a 9V ledgend becasue of its stabilty, nice audio ID and depth. The flaw has always bee the life of the coils and cable but the mod has solved this. You also never have to open them they charge from the phones jack.
These machines are around-- if you see one buy it. Hope your season is a good one Will.

Sorry it's in the case in that shot and my camera bats are dead right now. It has a tuner and a delay pot. Never leak either.

Clive,

Your success represents lots of work, both mental and physical.

Will you share with us your favorite scoop?

Do you use a sifter?

Just wondering,

CJ
