A bad wreck! a New Record, and a good outcome!

The bad wreck was the cool car I found today! It is a Peugeot 404. Anyone ever heard of one?

The good outcome was I got some keepers on the same 2 hour hunt this afternoon. 9 wheats, and an 1889 Indian.

Got this cool old rouge container. I was so hoping it had some coins in it, but no go! Interesting that it was made with a hole in it.

As for the new record. When I hunted that site yesterday, I broke my record of wheats found in a single hunt. On March 19th, I had set a new record with 20 wheats in one hunt. Yesterday I broke that record by finding 29 in one hunt. This time it was less than half the time and way less area covered!
The pic shows the wheats from top to bottom rows Teens, 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's. If I knew I had 29, I would have searched for one more! :)
Stay tuned for more wheat info! :)

awesome hunt mike! where is all the silver? Seems lately I keep finding wheats and indians but very little silver, where is it hiding?

Will be calling you, Wheatie Man, also! Lots of wheaties and a neat IH...congrats and that car is a wreck all right! God Bless! Betty

Hey Mike--Nice finds. I don't think they used wheaties much down here in Indiana. At least not in Connersville. As for the Peugeot, I saw alot of them when I made a port call in Marseilles, France back in 1976. If I make it for the forum hunt, be kind and throw some wheaties down close to me. :wiggle:
