A better look at the Mass Oak tree 2 pence I got with V Man.

He's going to do a good write up on it.Talk to Hank Philips my hunting bud for the last two years. He told me the Red Book is way off on there rare coins. The part that look bent could be from two things. One the way it was pressed that way and Are very rare or they where also bent by people and put on a window to keep witches away.He has a catalog from 2005 that shows all the types of willows and there's a lot of them but his thinking it's a $50,000-$60,000 coin. His willow 2 pence should bring around $60,000.He has 6 tree coins and knows a lot on them.

look fabulous... Like Brandy stated above, I was with him when he found that beauty just sitting there on top of a freshly turned field row... I was as excited about the whole thing as I know Brandy was and still is... I'm a die-hard fan of metal detecting and, for me, it's not just the find, but the history behind the find... This gem has it all, the total package when it comes to American History... It was such a great find and I truly feel fortunate just for being there... I plan on writing about our weekend hunt and the discovery, with the hopes to have it published... Brandy will, of course get full credit... as for me, like I said, just thankful for being there and getting to hold it for a while... Although, I totally believe I was his lucky charm that day... Ya know, the catalyst that brought the whole thing together. :super: Sort of like a border collie, herding Brandy in the right direction, so that he would stumble upon it. :lmfao: I may never again see one like it, but my goal from here on out is to find a Massachusetts tree series colony coin... If it wasn't so darn cold out, I be out there right now looking! aaaarh! Is it Spring yet?????????
