Yes! Yes! I want to hear the long version!, with as much fanfare, flair and detail as you can muster!

"Well, boys, I got up at 6:45 am which is my practice, and put on a pot of coffee, Folgers it was, dark roast, on sale this week at the Piggley Wiggley...whilst it cheerfully bubbled away in the purcolator, I flipped on the Weather Channel to see what I could expect and prepare my clothing appropriate to the waiting conditions beyond my door"..." I sat down in my well worn recliner and absentmindedly picked up a file and sharpened my lesch...I use an 8" tapered bastard file, and commit to a crisp 22 degree angle, I had no concern of the shavings dropping on the floor, or any other thing in particular, just wanting to get out to that old Mill site...by the pale glow of the television, the shiny metal edge was good to see, I felt at ease... I had one small familiar ache this am, in my lower right back, and thought about it could be perhaps a kidney going out, but with a spare, it was of no great concern,...no matter, I'll pop an aspirin on my way into the bathroom for my morning sit down"

Take it from here Geo!

nice $1 gold, those must ring in mighty low (depending on depth). Are you going to take the F19 back there and see if you missed it's buddy?

If I ever get back to lower, slower Delaware.

Oh C'mon!

I produce a good quantity of uric acid myself, mainly due to all the beer I consume, I can peel the porcelain off the inside of a commode upon occasion, but attributed that to the pressure I can develop by biting down hard on a towel and giving it a dedicated go...I have never pist a gold coin that I know of! Or a silver one, of any denomination...A fellow should surely notice an event like that right? I dont ever remember swallowing a gold coin as a kid either, Had I done so, at least theres an outside opportunity of flushing it from its internal gastrointestinal slumber would be something we would all be interested in and look forward to perhaps?.

Perhaps I'm drinking the wrong brand? I'm not a doctor..help!

My 70 is looking for one if those.
When you find yours you will be shocked and thrilled at the same time. These were not uncommon in early war Union Infantry camps.Good luck in your quest.

I been trying to find any gold coin for 45 yrs and it has never happened. Way to go:clapping:

I cannot tell the date of this one, but I found one, 1854 I believe, in an old book several years ago. Not as much FUN as digging it out of the ground, but still nice to have for no effort.

That is one sweeeeeet coin. But I like the AVC button in your avatar better....... Now that is one killer find!

It is a nice cuff. Found in Centreville, Va. In the late 80's.

Paul,
It will find you but if you hunt old parks you will have to dig low conductive trash. Good luck.
