A cache of coins :)

kinda of embarrassing posting this after Dr Tones post but this should put a smile on faces. I have been doing MUCH better with my CTX with a little help from my friends and you know who you are. After work last night a buddy and I went to an older park in Oceanside CA. My first hit was a silver rosie, then a 1945 wheatie, a silver doo dad, a bunch of clad, an old Dodge key and then comes a wobbly high pitch and numbers jumping around. The soil in this park was hard and a lot of rocks but as I was about 6 inches in I saw some clear plastic. I pulled out a couple of memorials from the hole and after much effort digging out comes the baggie filled with coins all stuck together. If anyone needs a few memorials for their kid's piggy bank let me know :). As if we don't find enough pennies but hey it was a bag of a LOT of coins so it's a start. I am still learning the CTX. Next stop is how to post pictures of my finds and the silver is coming along!

Dose not matter if it's a bag of mercs or memorial penny's cache of coins is a rare find WTG. sube

Awesome! I bet that was a cool feeling pulling out a cache! Got some silver too!

Buddy Todd park. My "buddy" found a silver ring but we barely covered much "turf" so I think it will produce mre if we ever get any rain here!
