A cool and fun way to find old homes

I have the property valuation website for my county in my favorites.
I simply enter the street name and every property is there.
Of course, I can also enter a certain address.
The date the home was built, the owner's name and in most cases even a current picture are right there on my monitor.
I can take a virtual stroll down any street or road in the county. Its a great research tool. I'm sure knowing when a house was built and the owners name will make it easier to get permission to dig on private property.
Give it a shot.
