A couple Batwing buckles today

New member
Hunted a couple old sites today and turned up a few interesting things including two batwing buckles....one of which was intact. Found a bunch of interesting things in a field site that my buddy and I hit after our first location.

Yes. Appeared to be brass. The stone, whatever it was, was missing.

Put it in peroxide for a bit. There's still some cleaning to do but it appears to be a 1927 dog tag.
 
Pretty cool finds! I like that little oyster fork. At least that's what it looks like.
