a couple keepers from the beanfield

went to another beanfield this weekend, did not find a lot of good stuff, got a couple keepers.

1917 wheat, 1896 IH cent, interesting whatisit thing, and a cool valve that says Powell and has a star on one side, the other side says Pat 1903

any idea on that one??

[size=large]But it is a plumbing fitting (I hate plumbing BTW) of some sort. As to the decorative brass thingy, I'm thinking either suspender adjustor or a watch fob[/size]
 
That is a suspender clip device. Let's see the back.
 
Congrats on the finds and old coins! I thought the questionable thing to be a watch fob before reading the posts....but Mike probably knows more than I do about antiques....being a dedicated collector of them! :thumbup: :) God Bless! Betty
