A couple of recent finds with the 705

Hello there

I've had a couple of nice runs with silvers and some other items. 'Thought I'd share these with the forum. The Chinese coin looks like someone had tried to drill but gave up and threw it away. It's from Kiang Nan and is a 10 Cash coin dated around 1902 - 1904.

The little matchbox toy (sidecar) is from the 40's I think and is made by LESNEY (England). Found one of these on ebay (in mint and boxed condition) for $250!

Just realized I posted under my wifes name above. I LIKE SEEING COINS FROM AROUND THE WORLD . Ooops.
 
Most of the time I use the 5x10 HF coil. However recently I acquired a 2nd hand 10.5 MF DD coil. Works well too....

Now I just have to get my hands on a 6in HF DD coil. Anyone got one to sell me? :)

i got a 6" DD :razz: Bought it about 4 months ago and never used it, lol. Thought it might be ok doing mullock heaps here, but hmmm... then thought maybe the creeks i pan in might have some speccies, also thought maybe tide line at the beach, but probably too sensitive for that.

So can i ask which state your in snoopy36?

im about to head out for tea but i will give you a call when i get off work tomorrow, what time suits you? I get home about 3pm, so anytime after 3.30pm is good for me
