A crusty Indian and a broken gold ring = a great day out.

Went out for a couple hours with fellow findmall member ajaj today. We had a great time and each scored some cool finds.
Here's my good ones, and I'm sure he'll post his as well.

Butch,

Not a bad day for sure. Beats sitting in the chair all day. I have learned that if you don't put the time its tough to make good finds.

What a great hobby!

Butch didn't relate the odd part of the ring find. He's running the 5x8 coil and I have my 8x11 coil. I wanted to try the small coil so I said let's switch. Within 2 minutes of using my larger coil, he states loudly, "Gold!". He is holding this huge shiny broken ring. My eyes bugged out. Then, after less than a minute later, and using his smaller coil, I pull out this charm bracelet that has a mini-ring charm marked 925. Our best finds of the day and we switched set-ups less than 3 minutes earlier. I'll post pictures of the charm bracelet and other goodies tomorrow. Had lots of fun today, Butch.
