A day of celebration....

Pete in MI

New member
Nanna went home to be with Jesus this morning about 7:30 AM.

There is a celebration going on in Heaven and we know Nanna is there...not just there but has seen the smile of God as He has told her "Well done, good and faithful servant". How can we cry when we know where she is and that all her pains of this world are behind her and a thing of the past.

The funeral is scheduled for Thursday (people are coming from all over including Canada)...she was so loved and so blessed with so many grand children, great and even great great gand children. She was a prayer warrior for God and did so much in prayer for all of those she knew and loved. She will be missed by us but she earned her place in Heaven having spent so many years in service to her Lord.

May the comfort we have be spread to those who do not have the same hope of the future as Nanna had and now has. God bless you Nanna in Jesus name.

Here is a photo of Nana with her grandchildren (Pete and I are to the right) and our spouses, taken at her 100th birthday celebration last November. She spent 100 years, 9 months, and 18 days on this earth. I can't sleep tonight for all the memories I have going through my head, and I'm so thankful of the confidence we have through Christ that she's in His loving arms, and that someday we will be reunited to praise and worship Him together.
