Some of the best finds were a Linel watch, a pretty toasted 1950 wheat penny, and a ring that had “NF925” inside it which I believe stands for “nickel free and 9.25% sterling silver”

You are doing well Nate. It was definitely a windy day for sure. Any ring or wheat cent day is a great day detecting. Congratulations. Hopefully we will do some civil war relic hunting in the next couple weeks.
 
nice. i've founf that there are a lot of thinner silver rings/charms in the 68-70 range too. right with zinc pennies.... you'll have yer Simplex paid off soon!
