Ahhh yes, deep lead. It really never does get old. Can you believe the early relic hunters skipped em up!? My partner used to leave them behind or pick them up off the surface for door prizes at club meetings. They really were so common to find here in the 80s, dudes just left them....now you have to work for them. I’ve heard several locals say they used to pick them up out of their yards. One lady said she threw hundreds into the bay over the course of her childhood. 😱😱😱
