A few discovery 3300 videos.

I am getting the hang of the DD now. I really like it so far, it makes the machine that much better. I also have figured out pinpointing with it and plan on posting a video pinpointing with the DD coil at some point in time.

For me, the DD coil settled down with very short sweeps when I got to pinpointing. It's all too easy for me to make a wide "normal" swing to pinpoint, and that takes in way too much territory. I try to shorten my swing extremes to just beyond target center. The same technique is allso good for those junky spots to single them out.

Andy,

I replied to your PM with a few links of places you can get the 3300 in the UK. I will be posting some more videos over the next week or two. It has been raining a lot here this month so it makes it hard to do much hunting.

hi i found this very helpful i just bought a discovery 2200 and i am glad i found your video i like to have a 3300 but need to save my pennies to get one it has a better read out and few more bells and whistles on it then the 2200 but near the same but i got a good at Canadian tire 149.95 i am new to this for a starter i think i got a good deal know all i have to do is find that pot of gold so far i found a beer cap, old Orange crush bottle cap lol no coins yet but i keep looking and hoping for the best money does not grow on trees they say so may be i will find that pot of gold next to the tree lmao thanks john ps . may be you could make anther video i may even learn more

I own a 2200 and in my own tests it is as good as my Time Ranger's disc mode, I could see no discernible difference. The 3300 adds more of the Time Ranger's other features in a much smaller and lighter package. If I didn't already own a dozen detectors, the 3300 would definitely be on my wish list.
