A few finds from before the Storm

With snow, sleet and rain in the forecast for Sunday I figured I had better get out Saturday for some detecting. No silver but I did get a nice assortment of Indian heads (1863 Fattie, 1887, 1901, 1903,a green crusty one and a worn no dater), 3 Buffalo nickles and a 1908 V-Nickel. Also found a couple flat buttons and a half dozen wheaties. It was nice to dig a few before the snow hit.

Those Indians look very nice grouped together with the Buffalo Nickels. That is a lot of Injuns! Very Well Done and looks like a promising site to return too when the weather will permit you to. Good Luck and HH.

Those IH's look fantastic. Wouldn't it be nice if those Buff's held together as good! We are expecting a slight warm up this week so hopefully you guys will be getting it to. Seems like winter is hanging on like a bad cold!

Nice bunch of oldies Ed. I've only found five IH pennies since I started detecting in 1999. It must be nice to get five in one day. Come to think of it, getting three buffalos and a V nickel at the same time isn't bad either :twodetecting:. WTG!

Here is my last Indian find :wiggle:
