A few finds made mostly last Sunday. Part:1.

Here's some finds I got doing a few different locations the last 2 times out.

The Indians came from 2 different Parks with a Wheat Penny and a Merc, so those Parks are just about cleaned out I would say.

The rest came from a boulevard that I hadn't done yet and I didn't want all them Older Coins to be lost when they are tearing up the boulevard to match the Curb and Gutter height. The first swing, I found a Mercury Dime so I knew there was a chance for some Keepers still, even if this had been gone over by someone else about a month ago. It took me a good 3 hours or so to hunt this boulevard due to how long it was, which was about 2 city blocks, but it was worth every minute just to save them Coins from being lost forever. I would get a Wheatie here and a Wheatie there and finally, I got in front of a house and the first swing, got that Silver Signal that we all love to hear. I dug down about 4" and out popped a Silver Rosie. Next to this, there was another Signal and dug it and another Silver Rosie. I got up by the sidewalk and got another Silver Hit and dug it and yet another Silver Rosie. I wish the entire boulevard would have been like this but it wasn't, the coins being spaced out further than this. I also found 4 or 5 Wheats in 1 hole which really was fun hoping to see Silver but nothing came to light. I also found a neat Older Brass Bell that reads Fargo, No. Dak. on it that must be from the 50's. There is also an Older Tootsie Toy Jeep with Rubber Tires that I didn't post a pic of that is still in the Van that I found on the Boulevard as well. Hopefully this next weekend, I can get out both Saturday and Sunday and find a spot that will help me out with filling the categories for the next find of the month coming up very soon. Now lets get to the totals.

I found 7 Silver this time. They included 4 Mercury Dimes dated 1924-d,1941-d,1941-s, 1944-d, and 3 Roosevelt Dimes dated 1952,1959-d, and 1961-d. I also found only 1 Older Jefferson Nickel that was dated 1958-d. There was quite a few Nickels found on this boulevard but nothing Old. 2 Indian Heads were also found which are dated 1895 and 1902 along with a Canadian Penny dated 1951. The Wheats and Misc. will be in Part:2. Hope your having some luck out there in your hunts and thanks for looking. Good Luck and HH.[attachment 106706 DirtySilver.jpg][attachment 106707 CleanedSilver.jpg][attachment 106708 DirtyNickel.jpg][attachment 106709 CleanedNickel.jpg][attachment 106710 DirtyIndiansampCanadianCent.jpg][attachment 106712 CleanedIndiansampCanadianCent.jpg]

Here's the Wheats and the Misc. Finds I got.

The Wheats consisted of 22 of them, dated 10,25-d,40,41-s,42-d,(2)44-d,(2)45-d,48-d,50-d,51-s,(2)53-d,53-s,55-d,55-s,(3)56-d,57-d, and 58-d. For Misc., I only got a couple. They are a Junk Ring with a Clear and Green Stone in it (3rd Stone fell out), an Uncle Sam Play Dime from 1961, and the Brass Bell that has Fargo, No. Dak. on it. There is also some writing inside the Bell and possibly the date but not legible. Thanks for looking and Good Luck and HH to you all on your next hunts.:detecting:[attachment 106713 DirtyWheats.jpg][attachment 106715 CleanedWheats.jpg][attachment 106714 DirtyMisc..jpg][attachment 106717 CleanedMisc..jpg]

Nothing like going out and doing some diggin' once in awhile, especially when you bring back more treasure for one's trove. Good Luck and HH.

I've been waiting for your post James. Very nice finds there buddy:clapping: I really like that old bell. That's pretty cool. That "ole" XS just keeps on finding the good stuff and if the day ever comes when my XS dies it will be a sad day in detectorville:cry: Keep up the nice finds and as always, HH my friend.

Eddie

you rescued a bunch more silver and injuns from the cruel ground.:clapping: I like that little bell you found...and wonder what the history behind it was. Sometimes the little oddball finds turn out to be the best ones. Good huntin' buddy...and I hope you get some more stuff the next time out too.

I also wonder what the story behind the bell is all about since it has Fargo, No. Dak. on it. Must have been a Souvenir of some sort. Good Luck and HH to you also Bryce.

But with a little luck and taking care of her, I'm sure that the Trusty XS will be here for a long time to come. And if not, well, there is always a chance to pick up a replacement on Ebay. Would have had the post up earlier but there's always something that side tracks a person from their tasks every once in awhile. Good Luck and HH Eddie and hope you get out and find more goodies real soon.

If you take along a Cordless Sawz-All, you could always cut a plug like that if the ground is that hard. Just make sure you have some new blades for replacements. Seriously though, I hope you get out and do some hunting and find somewhere where the ground isn't like Concrete Charles. Good Luck and HH when you do get out.

HEY JAMES NICE TO SEE YOU BACK POSTING, NICE BUNCH OF SILVER AND MAN YOU REALLY FIND THE WHEAT'S  THE BELL IS SO COOL WTG...PHIL

I am really hoping to hit something hard this next weekend. Hopefully, I will land some Bigger Silver if I'm lucky. Still looking for my first Barber Half of the year. Thanks for the reply Phil and Good Luck and HH to you.

For some reason, them Wheaties are really attracted to my Search Coil but I'm not complaining because where there's Wheats, there's Silver! I think that Bell is pretty cool also. Thanks again for the reply and Good Luck and HH on your next hunt.:detecting:

silver count is just growing and growing. That's a great thing for sure. It's late in the season and getting out has been hard for me so seeing such nice finds does a boy good.WTG GR

It's fun finding the Silver Coins but eventually, it's going to become a very hard task due to all the detectorists in the area. So I must enjoy it while I can with the finds I get. Thanks for the post and Good Luck and HH to you on your next hunt.
