Question 1:

I found these items last week. One has writing on it that reads "M C & S" Copyright 2002. When I searched this I got a hint that it might be a token of some sort but found no pictures or confirmation. The appear to be bronze. Any suggestions? They are the size of a US quarter.

Two quarters found over the week-end. One had a date with a bull-dozer track. The other had a date with something more sinister:

Question 2:

Is this a miner's tag? It was found up in the hills. No coal mines nearby but some other mining activity is present. Size of a US half dollar. Bronze I think.

Lucky find today at the bank while depositing a big sack of MD clad. Teller had two half dollars in her tray:

the top one looks like an old spark plug gauge.

Two half dollar were a good easy find.

#1...you got me? Possibly part of a lock-key or combination lock.

#2..definitely a tag. Could also be a tag for tool inventory, marking water sprinkers, keys for specific locks...

And nice halves you got

Don't know what happened to that 2nd quarter looks like a small animal tried to make a meal of it.
