A few more neat finds

Louisiana Ken

New member
Went back to the 1820's acadian and found some more neat finds right where I've already detected several times. The pics show a 1917 Buffalo, 2/3rds of a Pelican State Button with no markings on the reverse (Maybe an LA-4), What I think is a CW era pistol bullet (The base of the bullet is flat), a small old button, and a fired small cal. musket ball maybe.

All together I found 13 bullets, an old brass thimble, another (1785-1800) small flat button, a 43 war nickel, 3 old shotgun shells (2 still had some cardboard attached to the base), several square nails and lots of unidentifiable junk.

I did manage to squeeze under the front porch which I know was built in 1896 replacing the original. Very difficult using the E-Trac under there and found only a few square nails. I'm going to try again later now that I know what to expect. I did find a late 1800's beer bottle under there which was pretty neat.
